Leo: “Mom, I’m done with Math!”
Me: “Leo, that’s great! Where is it so I can correct it to see how you did?”
Leo: “I ripped it into a bunch of pieces and threw it in the garbage!” (Followed by a hearty and mischievous laugh!)

We are brand new to homeschooling! I have a theology degree, not an education degree. We are about four weeks into the year and most days I feel I am sinking further and further into the depths of the ocean without any life jacket or preserver. I am so over my head that I am not sure if I’m still breathing.
Are you serious God? Why? Why now? Why have you chosen me? Have you ever had these conversations with God in prayer? So many times, in my spiritual life I have had these conversations with God. Often, I feel as though God asks way more of me than I think possible. I know I am not alone, and God asks the unimaginable from all of His faithful followers. Today, I thought I would muse on my last conversation that went something like this!
