ONLINE TRAINING CONTENT
1- First session: In the Beginning...
Following Saint John Paul II's plan in the Theology Of the Body, the course begins with Genesis: God's Plan for man and woman, the origin of marriage, and how sin distorted everything.
We will read Genesis and find clues as to what it means to be human, to be a man, and to be a woman.
We will also define sin and how it distorted man and woman's relationship and how it still affects us today.
2- Second session: Part one
The Sacrament of Matrimony.
What is a Sacrament? Why is it important to receive the Sacraments?
After a short review of the seven sacraments of the Church, we will reflect on what it means to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony.
We will also delve into St. Paul's Letter to the Ephesians, chapter 5. It will give us clues on how to build a better marriage through the love and respect connection.
2- Second session : Part two
Forgiveness
How forgiveness is vital to marriage and the beautiful gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Your Body is a Temple
Pornography is a terrible destroyer of families. We will learn how to fight it and that we owe immense respect to our bodies as they are the Temple of the Holy Spirit and a reflection of our souls.

3-Third Session:
The Rite of Marriage in details
We will analyze each sentence of the Rite.
1) Freely and without reservation

4) Will you accept children lovingly from God
5) and raise them up according to the law of Christ and his Church

We will discuss several important topics: cohabitation, sex before marriage, contraception, abortion, reproductive technologies, child-rearing, families of origin...
4- Fourth session: Relationship Tools
What is going to hold a couple together for life? What do they expect from marriage?
We will unmask the myths about marriage and help couples bring their expectations in line with reality.
We will make a list of all potential problems in a marriage and each couple will then try to find together their own potential problems.
We will then discuss how to avoid money becoming a problem in a marriage.
We will practice together vital communication tools.
We will end with prayer:
How to pray as a couple and then as a family "for a family that prays together is a family that stays together." (Fr. Peyton and Mother Teresa).
