Dec. 26th – Jason and Alana – Diocese of Baton Rouge, LA “It made me that much more excited to start this new chapter together and build a life with my spouse and God”

Him: I feel the course was well thought out and inspired a lot of important and impactful conversations. It was a great experience to grow closer together in our relationship and our faith. Many of the topics sparked conversations that we connected on and learned together. I am very happy we were able to go through this together.

Her: I was not sure what to expect with it being online vs being in person and speaking 1:1 with our mentors, but I thought they did a great job at making us feel as connected to them as possible, and that we were truly experiencing this together and having discussions about each section. They gave very thoughtful and deep answers/explanations, which helped us to dive deeper into some discussions.

Both: It helped us to, in the moment of disagreements, stop and consider what we had just been discussing and learning with our mentors and see that it was not us vs. each other but us vs. the topic/argument at hand and how we can work through it together.

Dec. 27th – Connor and Jessica (Interfaith) – Diocese of Norwich, CT “This course has made me desire to learn more about that Catholic faith”

Him: This course allowed me to further my knowledge of the Catholic faith, especially in regards to marriage. The course also introduced topics of discussion that I had never even thought to approach with Jess which allowed us to build a closer relationship through this class.

Her: This class allowed me to learn more about my partner's faith and allowed us to discuss topics we wouldn't ordinarily.

Both: It allowed us to have deep conversations about things we would not usually talk about. Having in depth conversations about both of our faiths and what we found important was a great way for us to build on our relationship.

Dec. 28th – Liam and Alyssa – Diocese of Harrisburg, PA “This course encouraged and inspired me to continue to strive to live out my Catholic values”

Him: This was such a great experience! I enjoyed having a self-paced and convenient learning experience with excellent feedback and further readings.

Her: I absolutely loved this course! I thoroughly enjoyed all the topics and really thought it was great to do together to prepare not only for our wedding day, but for our lives together.

Both: We were able to develop a stronger connection throughout this process and improved how we communicate to understand each other.

Dec. 29th – Creighton and Cristina – Diocese of San Bernadino, TX “It reminded me that God should always be at the center of our relationship”

Him: I enjoyed the pace of the course and it brought up a lot of points that were new to us. This allowed us to have new conversations about important parts of our relationship.

Her: I loved how self-guided it was and how we were able to discuss and reflect on our own time. I also loved having new conversations with Creighton and sharing our thoughts with one another.

Both: I think it allowed us to take time to share things we don't normally discuss in day-to-day conversations. This made us realize that deep conversations are necessary in helping us grow together, even though we know each other so well.

Dec. 30th  – Jon-Paul and Megan – Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY “I'm grateful for this class bringing my faith back to the forefront of my thoughts”

Him: The classes were good lengths and they structured it nicely. Our instructors were responsive and helpful.

Her: I really enjoyed taking pre-cana online. It allowed us to go at our own pace and really take the time to give our answers the thought and attention they deserved. Our instructors were very knowledgeable and great to work with.

Both: It definitely opened up avenues of conversation that we have not had nor considered before. The topic of NFP was definitely a big one for us, as well as talking about what our biggest issues were and how we planned to overcome them from here on out with God at the forefront.
