May 1st – Ronald and Mourly – Archdiocese of Edmonton, Alberta “Highly recommend this online Catholic Marriage Preparation to others who are looking for a high-quality, convenient, and effective online learning experience.”
Him: It was an excellent experience overall. The instructors were engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the subject matter. The format was well-structured and easy to follow. The workload was challenging but manageable, and I felt that I learned a lot from the class.
Her: The instructors were skilled at utilizing online tools to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. The class was well-organized, with clear instructions and expectations for coursework and participation. The workload was challenging but reasonable, and I felt that I learned a lot from the diverse perspectives of our instructors. I appreciated the flexibility of being able to complete assignments and participate in discussions on our own schedule, which made the class accessible to us with other commitments. Overall, we would highly recommend this online class to others.
Both: This course can provide couples with an opportunity to reflect on their relationship, their shared values and goals, and to learn practical skills for dealing with challenges that may arise in marriage. Learning how to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and develop intimacy can be a great way for couples to build a strong foundation for their married life and help them weather the ups and downs that come with any relationship. By participating in such courses or counseling, couples can gain a better understanding of each other's needs, increase their self-awareness, and develop a shared sense of purpose and vision for their life together. This, in turn, can strengthen their relationship, build trust and intimacy, and equip them with the tools that they need to overcome obstacles and build a long-lasting, fulfilling marriage on a solid foundation.
May 2nd – Klein and Lexi – Diocese of Austin, TX “I appreciated the structure of the course and how it pushed us as a couple to discuss the finer details of our faith”
Him: My favorite aspect of the class was how it challenged us to discuss topics and ideas we may not have gotten to discuss without the push. The course had an insightful way of generating conversation and pushing us to challenge each other, our faith, and our beliefs. Ultimately it brought us so much closer and reinforced just how on the same page we feel in our relationship.
Her: I really enjoyed this class because it challenged us as a couple to discuss topics that typically wouldn’t have come up, especially during wedding planning. It was not only challenging but helped us to better understand each other as a couple and I truly believe it will help set us up for a successful marriage in the future as well.
Both: We loved the course and want to thank our instructors so much for the support and guidance throughout. We learned so much and are so excited to apply it as we prepare for our wedding and beyond into our married life.
May 3rd – Christopher and Lauren – Archdiocese of New York, NY “It made me realize how much I want to raise my kids up in the faith”
Him: I believe this course walked us through various important subjects and what we learned here we will apply to our own marriage.
Her: I believe that this taught us more than any in-person Pre-Cana course could and the reason being is that reading through the Biblical passages taught us so much more than I could have imagined.
Both: We both realized the conversations we would like to have about our expectations. We want to go into our marriage remembering that the little things are important and that we should be careful when communicating with each other.
May 4th – Mark and Tiffany – Diocese of Southwark, England “We are truly thankful for this marriage preparation course”
Him: It was a one-of-a-kind experience as it was different than the usual face to face seminars/marriage course but I believe the approach was very moving for couples like us.
Her: I am extremely amazed by how the class was administered in a way that even though there is no virtual or face to face interaction, I can still feel the connection with our instructors and can even hear them speak to me through their answer keys. Kudos to the team! We were able to feel the connection despite the distance and time difference. The class really did help us get ready for the upcoming new chapter of our lives.
Both: We learned a lot and it really helped us not only as a couple but as individuals who are ready to enter the union blessed by the Almighty.
May 5th – Sam and Jennifer – Diocese of Kalamazoo, MI “It made me excited to grow closer to God”
Him: Very thorough teaching with great personal feedback. Very educational!
Her: We loved the personal touch of being able to communicate back and forth with our course instructors and talk specifically about our answers and our own relationship.
Both: It made us talk about how we will continue to incorporate faith into our life and relationship and sparked good conversations about how we will raise our children in faith, too.
