Oct. 21st – Connor and Natalia – Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, TX “It was so informational and so knowledgeable and we really feel like we have grown and have become better individuals because of it”

Him: This was a great experience for me and Natalia. We got to make date nights out of this and we learned a lot about each other. It challenged us to have conversations we have never had before. It also made us think of things regarding our marriage and our faith that we never thought about and want to learn more about. I feel like I learned more about myself, Natalia and what our faith journey as a married couple with look like.

Her: I am extremely satisfied with this course! it was really cool for Connor and I to be challenged about our faith and what we want and should expect of each other in our marriage. There were certain things that we agreed and disagreed on, and it prompted really good conversations between the both of us it also taught us how to handle Future problems that may arise. Overall, I’m really happy with how this went and we feel very well prepared for our marriage to continue our faith journey.

Both: We really got to think about what we want out of our marriage. The roles that we need to fill and how we are going to keep Christ at the center of our relationship. It also prompted us to think about future problems we may have or could have and how to navigate those situations.

It was a good way to expand our understanding on what our marriage means. I highly recommend that future spouses take this course as it was a valuable resource of information and understanding of what our faith has to do with the importance of marriage.

Her: The course was very educational, it showed me things that I did not know that was expected of a marriage, a better understanding of God. So much valuable information that all married couple should learn even if not married at church.

It has also given me a guide for having a deeper relationship with God and Luz.  God will guide us and is always here for us.  The course has also brought to my attention that Luz and I need to help one another get to heaven.  To this point, Luz has made me a better man, and I look forward to being an even better husband.  I am excited for the growth our marriage will have with the tools that this program has given us!

Her: I learned how important it is to let God be in control of our lives, marriage and our children. Prayer is very essentials to defends from evil. Attend to Mass with my husband and children and follow his commandments.

Him: Our instructors did a great job of getting their comments and feedback to us in a timely manner. The online platform was informative and easy to use.

Her: I loved getting the space and time to talk about my faith and Catholicism with Garrison, and talk about our future together through faith. It let us truly set aside time to have deeper conversations about these important subjects.

Both: Like I said above, having this time set aside to explore the Word and discuss future goals and aspirations pertaining to marriage produced so much growth. The conversations that we had from the lessons have, without any doubt, laid the foundations of our future marriage.
