Him: The time we shared together doing this course helped us discover things we hadn’t noticed before.

Her: It helped us understand the importance of inviting Christ into our relationship and how beneficial communication is in our relationship as a couple.

Oct. 29th – Nick and Thu – Diocese of Phoenix, AZ “This course helped me realize that God is always with us and that the Church guides us to be good and get closer to Him for eternal life.”

Him: We thought we already knew everything and were ready for marriage. This course has helped us realize there’s still so much to learn. All of this guidance will help us strengthen and sustain our relationship.

Her: This course is essential for every couple preparing for marriage. It has taught us how to protect and nurture our relationship and reminded us that God is always with us on this journey.

Both: It encouraged us to think critically, analyze, and understand each assignment. We learned that God is always with us and that the Church follows His teachings to guide us in the right direction. The course covered essential topics such as conscience, contraception, matrimony, abstinence guide, forgiveness, and relationship tools. With all that we've learned, we feel equipped to maintain our marriage and strengthen our relationship with God. 

Oct. 30th – Samuel and Courtney – Diocese of Camden, NJ “It brought up many great conversations with my fiancé about how we want to model our marriage”

Him: It really helped us incorporate God into our daily routine and I really appreciate the knowledge I gained about God's purpose, our purpose, and how to navigate through marriage.

Her: I loved the course! We had really essential conversations about our life and how we want to continue to incorporate God in our marriage. I think it is important for everyone to have these discussions prior to getting married. It gave us a larger sense of the importance behind the commitment we are making.

Both: We had really deep conversations throughout the whole course which helped us be in the same page prior to getting married. We have a better understanding of our goals in life and how to make our marriage work with God at the center.

Oct. 31st – Daniel and Monica – Diocese of Orange, CA “This course actually exceeded my expectations and would recommend it to other future couples that are in the process of completing the sacrament of marriage”

Him: This course has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and a new perspective for what the sacrament of marriage represents. The course has also provided me with a realization for what my role and purpose is in the family we will be building together. But the most satisfaction came from the way the course was structured, and how it forced engagement and communication from both partners. I really enjoyed learning and discussing these topics with Monica.

Her: My overall experience with this course was 10/10. I am very impressed with the feedback we have been receiving after each section was completed by our instructors. Both have provided us with so much valuable information that I will be putting into use in my every day to life as a married woman. Daniel and I were always excited to speak and go over our answers after we received any feedback.

Both: The course work had a few questions and videos that initiated conversation between us. These conversations were mostly centered around communication, transparency, and complete trust in each other.

It allowed us to go at our own pace, being able to take time to discuss and research topics we were not familiar with, and to spend time discussing the content of each assignment. The feedback provided gave us so many resources and in-depth knowledge of the topics, it made going over the answer sheets one of our favorite parts.

Both: The course did help us to focus on our communication. We have always made this a priority of our relationship, and this course helped reaffirm this focus. The topics we were able to focus on and discuss allowed us to have honest and open discussions of the content, and the course provided us the platform to discuss future problems and solutions for our future and our family.
