Him: I was very impressed with how much the program got us into a deep conversation amongst each other. It encouraged us to communicate very well.
Her: I thought it was great and really helped to prepare us for our future together and within the Catholic Church.
Both: We had some hurt feelings from years ago that we didn't realize we held onto until the forgiveness section. We were able to let it go after discussing our feelings with each other. We honestly feel closer than we ever thought possible! We thank our instructors wholeheartedly for their guidance and the time it took to lead us. We will keep y'all in our prayers.

Him: I thought it was helpful especially when it comes to communication in marriage. It gave a great overview of Bible verses that are important to study for marriage. It encouraged me to look even deeper into the Bible.
Her: I liked the concept of doing this prep online because we could complete it in our free time. I thought it was helpful and gave us a great opportunity to discuss a lot of things. It revived my faith because it provided many ways for us to grow even more together in the Lord and stressed that we need to take time together with the Lord in our marriage through prayer.
Both: The prep course provided us with a great opportunity to communicate about the questions that were asked. It really got us talking about important things. 

July 13^th Michael and Elizabeth- Sand Springs, OK “The course really helped me understand the sacrament of marriage on a deeper level.”

Him: I enjoyed the prep very much. It allowed me to look deeper into my relationship with Liz. It acknowledged and reiterated our love for each other through Christ. I also learned a lot of our faith's background stances on love and marriage.
Her: I think it was a great course -very intensive and focused on scriptures. I liked that we were able to complete this course at our own pace and really got to take time in a private setting to go through the lessons together. Since I'm still in the beginning stages of my faith journey, the course really helped me understand the sacrament of marriage on a deeper level.
Both: It brought to light the different positive effects communication has in our relationship. It brought up topics that we may not have ever considered discussing unless they actually came up in reality.

July 15^th Michael and Brittney – Kingsley, IA “Once everything was broken down and explained better it definitely made me want to go to church more”

Him: It was very informational, even though I grew up Catholic I stilled learned a lot!
Her: Not being baptized or being an official member of any specific church this was very interesting, I was taught a lot of things that I have always questioned growing up, and it was a very fun experience for us to do together as a couple and talk things over. Once everything was broken down and explained better it definitely made me want to go to church more because now I have a better idea of what’s going on.
Both: We both knew that the other spouse believed in God, but we never really sat down and talked about our faith or how to participate in it together and why Catholics believe the things they do. It just opened another path for us to discuss and become closer. We really enjoyed this class!!

Him: This prep was highly beneficial to Jessica and I. It brought us closer together and helped us to think about the main topics of marriage and faith in a deeper sense.
Her: This prep was very enlightening and made me think of certain ideas and thoughts that I never would've contemplated otherwise. Our instructors were helpful and I liked that they provided their own personal stories whenever possible.

Him: This course renewed my faith and desire to grow closer to God.
Her: I appreciated the talk about Natural Family Planning. It caused a lot of discussion and looking at how we are going to handle starting a family in our lives. 
Both: Many of the topics that were discussed in this prep, we had not talked about before. Not that we did not want to but the topics were never brought up. We talked a lot about what we expect out of each other and how we are going to handle the many different parts of life together.

Him: I thought it was fantastic. It was extremely informative and did a great job at getting you to think about your relationship with Christ and your future spouse. It really opened my eyes to some of the things we’re doing that may harm our relationship and gave some great insight on how to fix it.
Her: It was more than I originally expected and I feel like it connected Matt and I on a deeper level and drew me closer to God.
Both: We were able to openly discuss our future concerns about our faith as a couple and make sure we are on the same page. It also taught us a lot about forgiveness and respecting one another. Lastly, it gave us a great lesson on actively listening which we feel will really strengthen our relationship moving forward.

Him: I thought it brought up some really great topics for us to talk about and really was a great way for us to spend time together.
Her: I love it because it got us talking about our faith more with each other. We both knew that we had a strong faith but we realized that we are embarking on a journey together and this just made us realize that we are about to really become one. It was a really exciting realization.
Both: It got us talking a lot about the serious issues of marriage. Talking about our lives together made us much more excited to start our journey. We really enjoyed our time with this. We also really enjoyed the feedback that came with our answer sheets. It gave us a lot to think about and discuss. We appreciate all the time that our instructors put into those answers and their love story inspired us.

Him: I thought it was excellent and discussing some spiritual things with Jennifer was very eye opening and rewarding. It reminded me to put God first in our marriage and that he alone is the ultimate guidance within our marriage.
Her: I really enjoyed learning from this class. Tim and I had some great discussions and it opened up our communication on important topics. The videos were very helpful and interesting. I really like the NFP videos with real couples affirming why it works.

Him: The course gave us a chance to take in and learn many different things! We were able to open up, better understand, and grow together. Her:This course gave us some great insight into the Church's views of marriage and how this covenant will strengthen and bond us.
Both:It gave us the opportunity to talk in depth about theology, something we have never had the chance to do. Couples get so caught up in daily life problems and our conversations are about grocery lists and work problems. It was great to communicate on something deeper and discuss our ideologies and how they will affect our family in the years to come.

Him:  It was great! We're glad that we went through this preparation. It helped us understand each other better. Like our views, opinions, and issues that we may encounter as a couple (such as raising kids, finances, conflict resolution.) Marriage is a lifelong commitment. For a relationship to work, a couple should always put God in the center of their relationship.
Her: It was such an amazing experience going through this course. This course provides us with strategies on how to overcome tough times and how we can make our marriage work with God in the center of it.
Both:This experience helped us understand and appreciate each other better and love each other more.

Him: We learned about each other, our faith and the true meaning of marriage. 
Her:I thought it was awesome. It started so many thoughts and conversations we wouldn’t normally have. There were things like NFP that I didn't know enough about, and reading about it really opened my eyes.
Both:  It really improved our communication. We were asked to talk about things we wouldn't regularly talk about. It laid everything out for us to discuss, and we were really able to learn some amazing things about each other and our relationship.  We talked about our plans for the future and our relationship with God.

Both:We are going to find a church that we both love in whatever city we end up living in. That is our main focus right now!

Him: I was pretty impressed with the whole course and it opened my eyes to a lot of things I would have never thought of when it came to marriage. It was good to see how everything in the end connects to God and God's role in our future lives together.
Her: It was great....It got us thinking about what marriage actually means, and God's role in our lives/relationships.
Both: It improved our communication as a couple because it made us talk about topics we normally would not have, especially since we come from different backgrounds/religions. We feel we are a stronger couple now because of these “open” conversations that were driven from this course.

Him: Very informative and helpful. It brought up tough questions that were essential to our future marriage. My faith has had its ups and downs and this course reassured me that through God our marriage will succeed.
Her: I learned a lot from this marriage prep. I think that our relationship has been strengthened immensely.  I have been converting to Catholicism over the last year and this course helped solidify my young faith.
Both: It forced us to talk about subjects that may not come up until a fight. This allowed us to figure out a bunch of potential problems before we have them, in a calm manner. Everything was fantastic!

June 2^nd Daniel and Jillian- West Hartford, CT  “It allowed me to educate Dan on Catholicism”
Him: I am not Catholic, but I thought it brought up good topics for us to discuss in order to prepare for our marriage and be able to discuss those things that can get difficult. Now we know what our communication styles are. It made me realize how important faith is to Jill as well as how it should be incorporated in our marriage and when we raise our kids.
Her: I thought this was a very beneficial marriage prep class! The topics linked with bible verses were a nice way to get us to read the Bible together, dive into God's word, and learn how to create a relationship with Him. It allowed me to educate Dan on Catholicism and how our individual and joint relationships with God can enrich our marriage and allow us to grow stronger together with a common foundation in faith.
Both: We created a form of communication that will work for us and allow for the most efficient and calm way to discuss the tough topics.

Him: It was very thought-provoking and well-balanced not spending too much time on one topic but constantly showing the connections among all topics discussed and their importance to making a lasting marriage. I feel like this was a great guide to remind me of why I choose to be Catholic!
Her: I really enjoyed this prep! I especially felt a connection to our instructors who provided tons of insight. It really gave the class a personal touch! I appreciated how personalized the course was. I never felt any judgment for our/my answers.

Her:I've personally enjoyed this prep because it brought up many important topics that I believe has really helped my fiancé and I to talk about and it connected us in a deeper spiritual level. Him:This was an experience of personal and spiritual growth for me in addition to being the beginning of a journey with Marcie. Our instructors encouraged us to be open, communicate, and to be aware of the importance of God in our marriage.
Her: I think this prep encouraged us to have the conversations necessary to go into our marriage fully prepared. The conversations that we were asked to have, may not have taken place had it not been for this course (e.g. the conversations around conflict or abortion).
Both: There are topics that we avoided, even unintentionally, when talking about marriage and future. Taking this course forced us to be okay with talking about some of the difficult topics that are necessary to go into a marriage fully aware and fully committed. This course made conversation and disagreements welcome. We learned how to discuss ideas without judgement as a way of finding a common ground and compromising.

Him:It was great to get to know a bit more about the values of the Catholic Faith and Dominique's beliefs. A lot of the exercises are great for Catholics and non-Catholics entering into marriage. I feel like I got to know why Dominique wanted a Catholic wedding and why her faith is so important to her and her family.
Her:It was a great way to open up more topics that are important to discuss in a relationship. It definitely keeps the lines of communication open. Getting feedback from a couple that has been married awhile and has gone through a lot is awesome! It also helps to re-examine your beliefs and reasons for marriage. You definitely get back in touch with your faith.
Both:Talking about subjects in depth helped us discover a lot about ourselves and our spouses. It also solidifies the reasons you are choosing to marry this person.

Him: This marriage prep class was very helpful and informative.
Her:  I very much enjoyed this prep class. It educated me as a Catholic and I learned more about my faith. It taught me what a Catholic marriage looks like and what my responsibilities are as a Catholic wife. I think all of the resources are very helpful and diverse which kept the lessons engaging.
Both: These courses gave us some tools on how to communicate better. I also believe that this course has brought us closer and that we understand each other more in our individual beliefs. The respect between us has increased and it is more clear to us the amount of work marriage will need to keep the relationship healthy.

Him: I found it very educating. The prep course showed me how to become a better Catholic and to become a good husband and father.

Him: It provided me a reminder of how important my faith is in my future relationship/family. It made me think about different aspects of my future marriage and how I can be the best version of myself for Steph.
Her: I felt that this course forced me to think about different aspects of my religion that I may have not thought about in a while. It also reminded me of the different sacraments I have received already in my lifetime, and the seriousness of the commitment I’m going to be making. It also made me even more excited to begin this special journey with Chris.

We felt that they were both extremely supportive instructors and helped us gain a much clearer understanding of this very important sacrament. Her: This course was way more than I expected it to be. Not only did I get some refreshers on the Sacrament of Marriage, but I also got to have conversations with Griffin that we have never had before. It has really strengthened our relationship with each other and with God.
Both: We always knew communication was a major key to any relationship. After this course, we have talked more and more about it and we know that communicating is something we will always have to work on and it will only make our relationship stronger! We would highly recommend this to any of our friends that are preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage. This course was awesome!

Her:  I really enjoyed this marriage prep class. I liked the worksheets because it helped us go over on how to communicate with each other. I especially liked the NFP worksheet because it made me decide to use NFP throughout our marriage.
Both: It has improved our communication because we have learned how to understand each other's feelings much better.

Both:  We plan to go to church on a more regular basis. We hope to be able to participate in some parish activities.

May 6^th, Kaleb and Taylor- Boulder, CO  “It broke down walls between us”
Him: It was a comprehensive covering of the Catholic view on the sacrament of marriage.                              
Her: This truly deepened my understanding of the sacrament of marriage and I think this course did a great job by hitting all the major topics.
Both:  It broke down walls between us, allowing us to be completely open with each other. We learned more in depth facts about each other.

April 25^th Ben and Christy – Memphis, TN  “It showed us how to get our point across without arguing...”
Him:I thought it was a very detailed and an informative class. I learned things I wasn’t aware about my catholic faith.
Her: The class was excellent! I would recommend this course to everyone I know even those who are not of the catholic faith. It brings up questions and ideas that every couple needs to think about before getting married.
Both: It improved our communication by showing us how to get our points across without arguing which ultimately brought us closer together. It created open communication on topics we never thought about discussing.

April 26^th William and Alison- Boulder, CO  “I thought this course was very good and thorough”
Him: I thought this course was very good and thorough. I liked the format of working with another couple in the community.
Her:I really enjoyed the class. I felt that it was really valuable to have the opportunity for Billy and I to come together to work on the assignments, and give thoughtful consideration to the Sacrament of our marriage. It was especially nice that we were in the midst of RCIA while we were doing the class. It gave us an opportunity to reflect on the relevance of what we were learning in that class, and how it related overall to this course.
Both:  We will continue to attend Mass weekly, and will be signing up to volunteer with the church as well. We have also discussed looking into opportunities to volunteer.

April 27^th Dan and Kimberly- Vincentown, NJ  “This made our bond grow that much stronger”
Him: I thought it was very helpful and I learned more about my partner.                                                               
Her:I agree it was a very fun and insightful course! I loved our conversations that were brought up because of it.
Both:  It made us talk about subjects that we would not have brought up on our own. When we did talk about them we found out that we share the same views on almost everything. This made our bond grow that much stronger. 

April 28^th Vincent and Katherine - Denver, CO“The connections made between the bible, the sacraments, and the Church, were very impactful.”
Him: Thoroughly enjoyed the course, especially the conversations that Kate and I were able to have together.
Her:  I was very pleased with the course. I thought the connections made between the bible, the sacraments, and the Church, were very impactful and memorable.
Both: We thought the course sparked lots of good conversation about what is expected of each of us in marriage and what is to be expected throughout marriage.

April 29^th Derek and Taylor – Annapolis, MD  “Great information to help us build a strong Christ-centered marriage”
Him:It was eye opening for me to get to see the aspects of the Catholic Church that I wasn't aware of and how it's so important to keep God in our relationship.
Her: I really liked it. We got to sit down and talk about a lot of stuff that I was aware of before the prep but in much greater detail. It really applied to real life and I think it contained great information to help us build a strong Christ-centered marriage.
Both: We really enjoyed this course and appreciated your insight and knowledge!
