April 24th – AJ and Helen (interfaith) – Archdiocese of St. Louis, MO “This is the most I have prayed and thought about God my entire life and it felt great!”

Him: Not being Catholic this was an incredible way to learn more about the Church, but also it was a great way to start talking more about the most important parts of our future.

Her: All of my siblings have been married in the Catholic Church and have done marriage prep courses with other couples, in person. I personally feel like we got more out of this marriage preparation since it was just us two and really made us talk through our answers.

Both: We talked about things we would have never talked about! We also realized different aspects of the Church could help our relationship grow and allow us to have the strongest foundation going into this new chapter!

April 17th – Ryan and Shelby – Archdiocese of New Orleans, LA “It reminded me how important prayer is!”

Him: Shelby and l loved this class! We had so much fun analyzing the questions and having real thought-provoking conversations about faith, family, and love. Our instructors provided great examples, and were so honest in their feedback. We did not feel judged at any point and felt we should share questions and answers honestly.

Her: This class taught me a lot about what is truly important in a marriage. Our instructors are great role models and it was great working with them.

Both: We appreciated our instructors telling us their life stories and ways they relate to topics. It made the experience feel more personable.

April 10th – Viet and Aimi – Diocese of Austin, TX “We were given a lot of tools that we plan to implement and try out in order to strengthen our relationship”

Him: This was a very informative course. With the personal feedback on every assignment, it was very interactive, and we definitely learned a lot.

Her: I really enjoyed this course. It was informative, involved, and very thorough. We learned a lot and getting the personal feedback from our instructors was the cherry on top.

Both: We appreciated the fact that our instructors took time to review and respond to each of our answers. It let us know that what we were writing was actually being read and analyzed.

April 3rd  – Kevin and Annastiasha – Diocese of Toledo, OH  “We are set up for success because of this marriage prep”

Him: I thought the class was very thorough and covered every aspect of the Catholic faith. It challenged us to think outside the box and learn how to grow our faith and our relationship.

Her: I thought it was a great way to grow our faith and gain a deeper understanding of God's plan for us and our upcoming wedding.

Both: We took the time to have in depth discussions about the teachings of Christ and how we can adjust our current lifestyle to be better followers of the Lord. These classes gave us some much-needed guidance on how we can proceed as a Catholic couple.

March 27th – Nicholas and Stephanie – Diocese of Fall River, MA “I was really pleased by the level of detail in the course”

Him: I really appreciated our instructor’s feedback. They were always so thorough, and we have found lasting value from the course and will implement much into our marriage.

Her: The attention to detail in our instructor’s answers has really helped to set us up for success in this new stage in our relationship and in our lives. Thank you!

Both: The course encouraged us to look deeply inside and have sometimes challenging conversations about the very nature of our relationship and our plans for the future. We are glad that it gave us a guide for those discussions.

March 6th – Ryan and Miranda – Diocese of Prince Albert, Canada “it really opened my eyes to what God expects from us in our marriage”

Him: It was great to dig further into these questions and challenges and understanding what God wants from us in matrimony. I appreciated the extra depth of the responses to our answers and the added source material.

Her: This class was amazing. It really helped us to discuss things that we never even realized we needed to talk about, and it was very informative.

Both: We appreciated all of the extra material, and how the answer keys came back so quickly with lots of extra information. I also appreciated the personal comments from instructors. 

March 20th – Aldrin and Teresa – Diocese of Fort Worth, TX “I have spent some time away from Church and this class made me remember how thankful I am to have the life He created for me”

Him: My overall impression of the class was excellent, I felt the topics were thought out and the feedback was thoughtful and thorough.

Her: It brought us closer as a couple and the feedback given to us after every completed worksheet was helpful. We also liked that we were able to compete the course at our own pace.

Both: The class allowed us to remind each other what we prioritize in life. This reminder has allowed us to grow and appreciate what we have done for one another over the course of our relationship, and we are excited for what the future has in store for us.

March 13th – Matt and Taylor – Diocese of Arlington, VA  “This course allowed me to renew and strengthen my connection with God through prayer and reflection”

Him: I feel like the course really highlighted every single aspect of not just marriage, but a Catholic marriage and the importance of God's presence in our lives. The course made us do a lot of reflecting and communicating which is very important for a healthy marriage, and we are overall very pleased!

Her: I love the way that it was set up so that we could complete the assignments during times that were convenient for us while also receiving such detailed, and helpful feedback and advice! The responses we received back were so helpful to go back and read to get another perspective on our answers.

Both: The course allowed us to dive deeper into topics that we may not have initially realized that we need to discuss. In other words, it allowed us to better engage in more challenging yet rewarding conversations regarding our future together that will really set the foundation of our marriage.

Feb. 27th – Elias and Scarlett – Archdiocese of Los Angeles, CA  “This course gave me even more of a reason to get closer to God”

Him: I appreciated the quality work of our instructors and the amazing feedback they gave us.

Her: This class was excellent, we learned a lot of new information that will help us in our life journey.

Both: This course allowed us to think about life together and work together to find various solutions.

Feb. 20th – Brendan and Gabriella – Archdiocese of Edmonton, Canada  “Showed me that my faith can be part of my life at all times and not just in times of need”

Him: I thought it was very well done as far as laid out and the subject matter. The material was engaging and inspired great conversation between Gabriella and me.

Her: I thought this was really important for us as a couple and for our relationship with God. I loved how this course was able to accommodate our busy schedules and we could work at our own pace.

Both: We plan to volunteer with church activities in the community and attend mass more on a regular basis.
