Feb. 13th – Anonymous – Archdiocese of New Orleans, LA  “It helped us recognize each other’s strengths and things we need to work on”

Him: It revived my desire to get closer to God and His church. The knowledge and wisdom that our instructors shared with us helped answer questions I had about our faith.

Her: I loved this class because it showed me the deeper meaning of what it means to be married. I made me appreciate the man I am marrying, that much more.

Both: The information has been abundant and very detailed. Our instructors have been amazing with their responses to our answers and helping us to have a much deeper understanding of not only the sacrament, but our faith!

Feb. 6th – Shawn and Serina – Diocese of Orange, CA  “Provided me with a lot of insight on how we can allow Christ into our marriage and home”

Him: I liked how our mentors really communicated meaningful responses to let us think about and reflect on throughout the course.

Her: This class was very enlightening. It made me realize how much of an impact Christ can have on your marriage and how beneficial it would be.

Both: It improved our communication because it made us think and talk about things that have yet crossed our minds. However, these topics were imperative to discuss prior to getting married.

Jan. 30th – Jimmy and Ruby – Archdiocese of San Antonio, TX  “It gave me a desire to get closer to God and His Church”

Him: The class actually exceeded my expectations, because it not only strengthened my bond with my fianceé, but also my bond with God.

Her: This course was excellent, I learned so much within the course. I've grown as a person with my faith with all that I've learned within this course.

Both: All the feedback from our instructors that was provided was so great, never made us feel like our answers were wrong.

Jan. 23rd – Drew and Alexis – Archdiocese of Denver, CO  “I appreciated the great thought that went into each of the lessons”

Him: I thought it was very insightful and enlightening - the classes really opened my eyes to how God is ever present in my life and how He is present in our upcoming marriage.

Her: It showed how present God will be in our marriage and we will try and keep him at the center of our relationship though daily prayer and mass.

Both: It facilitated some tough conversations that were super beneficial to have. We came up with some good goals together and gave us some new communication tools!

Jan. 16^th – Anonymous – Diocese of Dallas, TX  “I feel like I now understand more thoroughly the role of God and His Church”

Him: Extremely informative and gave us great insight into what marriage is all about.

Her: I enjoyed the self-paced nature of the class, appreciated our instructors' quick and thorough responses, and felt I learned a lot.

Both: It is great to have instructors who have been in our shoes and really insightful to hear their trials and tribulations.

Jan. 9th – Rob and Gab – Diocese of Camden, NJ  “I definitely feel the setting of completing it at home allowed for more conversation and less intimidation”

Him: This class was very explorative. It created great discussions between my fiancée and me. It taught us how to further our faith while getting ready to take the journey of marriage together.

Her: This experience overall was a great opportunity for us to have conversations about our values and faith. I feel these topics were easily guided and were meaningful to also have feedback from our instructors. My fiancé and I have been able to feel closer and even more ready for our marriage.

Both: Our instructors were amazing with their insightful answers while reviewing in a timely manner.

Jan. 2nd – Donovan and Olivia – Diocese of San Francisco, CA “This was a well-designed course”

Him: It opened my eyes to so many different teachings and concepts that I was unaware of.

Her: It was a very enlightening course. I believe it helped us have good discussions before we begin our marriage.

Both: We had to have tough conversations that helped us understand each other's perspectives better than before.

Dec. 26th – Jason and Alana – Diocese of Baton Rouge, LA “It made me that much more excited to start this new chapter together and build a life with my spouse and God”

Him: I feel the course was well thought out and inspired a lot of important and impactful conversations. It was a great experience to grow closer together in our relationship and our faith. Many of the topics sparked conversations that we connected on and learned together. I am very happy we were able to go through this together.

Her: I was not sure what to expect with it being online vs being in person and speaking 1:1 with our mentors, but I thought they did a great job at making us feel as connected to them as possible, and that we were truly experiencing this together and having discussions about each section. They gave very thoughtful and deep answers/explanations, which helped us to dive deeper into some discussions.

Both: It helped us to, in the moment of disagreements, stop and consider what we had just been discussing and learning with our mentors and see that it was not us vs. each other but us vs. the topic/argument at hand and how we can work through it together.

Dec. 12th – Osasu and Joy – Diocese of Uyo, Nigeria “Brought me closer to faith relationship with God”

Him: I am very happy to have taken this class, because it opens my heart to having a good marriage.

Her: It was a good and educational course which brought about many questions and challenges which I have suppressed for a while. Both my fiancé and I had great discussions, a few disagreements but an understanding as to the WHY we are going through this. It brought me closer to God and inspired my faith and prayer life. I would recommend that all new couples complete a marriage preparation course to help get to the WHY of coming together.

Both: The course met all our expectations and more. It was very insightful and thought-provoking.

Dec. 5th ^– Nicolas and Ashleigh – Diocese of Peoria, IL “Working on these courses together brought us closer and made us stronger”

Him: It was very insightful. This was a great course because I learned so much more about my faith and how to continue a close relationship with God and my future wife.

Her: The course was very helpful! It helped emphasize the special bonding between God and our marriage. It strengthens our relationship; we learned more about one other.

Both: We lacked in practicing our faith and this helped get us back on track, it helped us to reconnect with God with our prayers.
